Legends of Lords is a war game with thousands of players on the same server. Attacking and being attacked are inevitable.
What should you do when you are attacked after leaving the novice protection period?
- Check the attackers
In the attack queue, check the attackers’ information. Look at the enemy’s population, estimate the enemy’s military strength, and determine the purpose of the enemy’s attack, whether it is to kill soldiers and upgrade heroes, or to plunder resources. Regardless of the purpose, you need to make some basic defense preparations:
- The best defense is the “cellar”
You should build a cellar as soon as possible. The cellar can hide some resources to prevent them from being looted by the enemy. The cellar upgrade requires very few resources and is fast to build.
Each level of the cellar can hide 3 types of resources, 200 each. A level 20 cellar can hide 3 types of resources, 4000 each, and a maximum of 3 cellars can be built. It is enough to guarantee the amount of resources you need for early development.
- Check the barracks and market
When attacked, you need to check your barracks and market buildings. According to the rules of the game:The resources of soldiers in training will be looted;
Therefore, you should cancel the soldiers in training to ensure that they will not be looted.
At the same time, you should check your market and use merchants to transport resources to other territories that have not been attacked, or to the territories of allies. Each merchant can transport 1,000 resources. Transferring resources in time can reduce losses.
- Determine whether to “hard-resist”
If you are not prepared to defend, you need to send out all the defensive soldiers.
. Attackers do not participate in the defense of the village. They can stay in the village;
. Defenders need to be sent out of the village. Reinforce to other allies’ homes, or your own oasis, defense tower, fortress.
. Note that offensive and defensive soldiers will also participate in the defensive battle and need to be sent out, including: heroes, scouts, and priests.
If you are prepared to defend, then you need to do the following:
a. Train defensive troops
Train more defensive troops. The barracks can train the following basic defensive troops:
. Infantry defense: Guards
. Bow defense: Phalanx
. Cavalry defense: Spearmen
. Three defenses: Axe and shield
Train the corresponding defensive troops according to the enemy’s marching speed or the enemy’s troops based on intelligence.
b. Upgrade the city wall
The city wall is the main defensive building. Each level of the city wall can increase the defense of the garrisoned soldiers by 3%. At level 20, the total bonus is 60%, which is very impressive. Try to upgrade the city wall as much as possible. If you have enough gold coins, it is recommended to upgrade immediately.
c. Change hero attributes to defense points
In the early stage, the single attack and single defense of heroes are very high. Adding the hero’s attribute points to single defense can effectively resist the attack of a small number of soldiers.
In the middle of the game, when you have enough defensive soldiers, you can wash the hero’s attribute points into group defense, which is more valuable.
d. Seek alliance reinforcements
This is a team game. If you are in a 10,000-person experience server, you should join an alliance as soon as possible to greatly reduce the probability of being attacked. If you have joined an alliance and are attacked, you can seek reinforcements from the alliance in time. You need to accurately tell the alliance the attack information, including:
. Attack target (coordinates of the attacked village);
. Attack arrival time (accurate to hours, minutes and seconds);
. How many soldiers you hope to get reinforcements. Note: This number depends on the food storage capacity of your village. The more the better. If you don’t have enough food, the soldiers will starve to death. If the food is insufficient, you also need food assistance.
. What type of soldiers do you hope for. If you can judge the opponent’s attacking soldiers, you can ask for reinforcements for the targeted defensive soldiers.
With this information, your allies can reinforce you in a timely and accurate manner. Regardless of whether the defense is successful or not, you should thank your allies for their support.
E. Build a mechanism in the trap
If you judge that the opponent’s army is not large, less than 200, you can consider building a mechanism in the trap to capture all the invading troops. The troops captured by the trap still consume the food of the attacker.
F. Build a city defense crossbow on the arrow tower
If you judge that the opponent has a car to attack, you should build a city defense crossbow on the arrow tower as soon as possible. The city defense crossbow can effectively defend against battering rams and catapults, and the exchange ratio is 1:1.
5.Keep calm and use diplomacy
This is a war game, and any means of war are in line with the rules of the game. So, when you are attacked:
. First, keep a cool head. Don’t be impulsive or angry;
. Stay polite, don’t write letters or swear in the chat room, which will only anger the other party more. If you are complained, you may be banned or even banned;
. Maintain friendly relations with allies and neighbors at ordinary times, so that you can get help easily when you are in trouble;
. Think about and make reasonable and long-term response strategies. For example: let the other party return empty-handed; join a stronger alliance; move to a farther location, etc.;
